I thought Harvard was smart. Why are the offering the dumbest health advice to peope?

Harvard has gained recognition through being intimately tied with big business and big government, and in effect has developed serious untruth.

They're usually ahead of the curve on account of all the freedom that the money and accrued prestige allows them, but if an employee chooses to align with the mainstream dogma he certainly won't be stopped...

I was listening to a podcast and a Doctor asked a prominent public health official if he knew that PUFAs were a health risk. The public health Doctor said he did. When asked why are they still recommending vegetable oils, the public health Doctor said that there wasn't enough alternative oils to go around. Sounds crazy until you look at the numbers:
