I experience the same thing when I eat meat too, but not if I eat a proper portion such as a rare cooked 6 ounce flat iron steak. I think mixing proteins with anything, but sugar is problematic and weighty, especially too much of it. Meat takes at least 6 hours to digest so eating anything after meat within 6 hours just gets piled on top and sometimes even stored, otherwise known as fat ?Everytime i add in meat--beef, pork, lamb--i start to gain weight both visible in appearance and on the scales. Why would that be? Can easy access to so much meat be the reason why there are a lot of fat people these days?
Im a rock climber and consistent meat days also make me feel noticably weaker and heavier.
