I know constipation is a symptom of both Ondansetron and Dopergin, but not cyproheptadine. Why is this?

Because cyproheptadine does not antagonize the 5-HT3 "receptor" unless you take 12mg-16mg in a single dose. For people that take as much as 24mg per day it does cause constipation.

And possibly also because it reduces gut inflammation, thereby potentially widening the lumen and helping relieve bottlenecks?

Possible, dopergin is also a powerful anti-histamine and has as much anti-inflammatory activity as cypro. And it is not nearly as constipating as ondansetron for me.
