I don't think it is as narrow as Androgens and E2. You to look at it as one system affecting another system.
There is no point for people with little resources or full knowledge to try to come to a conclusion. If you'd like you can ask Ray about it, but in a more structured format.

The mercury analogy is on using the unproved fact that natural or external E2 is beneficial for something like erection quality. You wouldn't start using Estrogen for this one small quality of it. I guess it's on whether to use an AR or not.
Estrogen is obviously not a useless hormone in all circumstances like Prolactin is (as I understand) so it's a bit more complex. But in general no matter what you want low or middle-low serum Estrogens. There is just no denying this.

Don't take estradiol orally, please. You could desolve it in some alcohol and apply it topically, just for safety, I don't recommend it. But maybe wee need some cycling between progesterone and androgens. I read a post from a woman on an other forum. She cycled bio identical progesterone and estradiol and after a few years her breast were so big she had to stop the estradiol. Low dose Dhea would be much safe and should have similar effects.
