So many thoughts, where to begin...

A factor that hasn't been mentioned yet is that kids nowadays grow up with an endless, constant and free stream of high-speed internet porn on every device they own. I was part of the first generation that grew up with internet porn. Was 10 when I first found it, high-speed when I was 13 or 14. It quickly became a habit and later a compulsion. Nowadays six year olds own smartphones and their parents have no idea what content they access every day. I read many stories on different forums on the topic over the years and made my own experiences. The amount of people with depression, low energy symptoms and suicidal thoughts on there is astonishing. Guys who are 16 and can't get an erection with a real woman anymore. Guys who are suicidal because the content they watch is not in line with their values.

Then we have the internet and social media in general. People share only the good stuff on social media. The best holiday pictures, the best moments. They don't share if they have diarrhea (ok, some of them do). What does this do to the perception of young people? They think that everybody is living a great live except them. They feel like failures. Being average or even slightly above average feels like they are nothing but scum.

Plus all the other environmental issues already mentioned.
Absolutely the internet is a cancer to society, especially to those who tend to be more socially outcast, the internet gives them freedom they don't have in their everyday life and then they abuse it, use it to meet their needs, and they become extremely depressed and unable to be in their life anymore.

A rite of passage does not mean getting abused. You are tested. If you are never tested how do you know what you are capable of?

This is the whole problem now. People play videogames, watch Netflix, do not go outside, are alone often, etc. Nobody tests them. So they stay insecure, weak and childish. In the case of men they still want to feel like a man and that is when narcissism grows. In their head they are the man. The narcissism and fake ego does not want to get hurt so they avoid hardship even more. Because that could potentially shatter their narcissistic self image. Reality will come for you.

If you never break this cycle you will be a manbaby forever. Society allows this cycle to happen.

From what I notice is that the people who have been tested the hardest are often the LEAST aggressive, depressed and most open minded.

Getting tested is not the same as being raped, abused, beaten (as a child), etc. Which yes will cause damage.
I think digitalization is a huge issue, I think it can be attributed to a lot of the mentalities you discussed like you mentioned.

There are plenty of hazing horror stories out there.

I think there is just generally a huge cultural issue around masculinity, mostly due to the military industrial complex, religion, and capitalism/fascism - a lot of peoples ideas about masculinity are very similar to Hitler and the Hitler youth programs.

Really there is a issue with inability to cooperate as a group or in a group setting without resorting to authoritarianism.

Antivaxxers are more likely to be depressed.

Vaxxing reduces depression and anxiety.

I probably ate a few slices of chicken balogne a day. I did eat a few eggs for breakfast. I probably had a few dinners of ground beef in chili each week, but it was mostly beans and rice. The only serious meat eating we got were usually these little chicken hotdogs the health food store sold. So I was not meat free, but it felt dang close for how much I liked it and how little I got (and it was mostly this way more inflammatory / high pufa white meat). But the largest single volume item was probably vegetables, and probably “heathy” breads were second greatest consumed item. we drank almond and rice “milk” growing up. I would have regular icecream at parties but it was “junk food,” so I never had too much. For some reason I always preferred ice cream to the cake :)

I’m a man; I had what I now know were symptoms of near estrogen dominance in my body. During puberty, I got taller but I didn’t get wide shoulders, my waste was almost wider, I looked like an old man frame. I had growths under each nipple that were painful, for years, and I didn’t do much activity. I began balding at 17. Chubby my whole life. My face didn’t develop into the stereotypical manly way, so there was a short period where I did keto carnivore a few years ago, that I shed a lot of water weight on, and I looked pretty much like a hermaphrodite. I was depressed and mentally screwed up. I went to a councilor as a kid, and I was told I had mild Asperger’s syndrome and a litany of things. I also grew up under an absolutely miserable marriage... almost like they had constant blood sugar crashes and b deficiencies with raging estrogen and serotonin... so did I.

I’ll add that even tho I’m more chubby again now, I think I also have a way more pronounced jaw and forward developing face using interoral pulling and mewing from a method a Russian developed, called mewing.world.

I truly thank God for meat, honey, milk, and Mike Mew for discovering how to keep the face developing, lol. I feel so good every second I drink a glass of milk, and eat a bite of steak, and think about the kids who are on a way worse diet than even I was. Those kids are the ones looking at hormone blockers to go trans, or committing suicide... they feel totally hopeless and I hate the this modern world’s trappings.
I am very sorry that happened to you. Thank you for sharing though that is very interesting.

What is the mewing method? I looked a bit at their Instagram but don't understand what the actual method is.

if anything makes a youth suicidal it's reading threads like these on how doomed and far removed from an optimal state of being we are

I think that today’s young people were raised by extremely over-involved narcissistic parents, the Boomers. I am one but we didn’t raise our kids that way. But “everyone gets a trophy” and overly organized and not giving kids their autonomy and the right to wander neighborhoods and get into their own fun and their own trouble. When I was growing up, parents just ignored their kids for large spaces of the day and the kids developed their own autonomy. Today’s kids were raised the opposite way and it results in terrible over dependence and mental problems.

And of course there is the aggressive vaccination schedules and that introduces a terrible physical element to the mix. Autism is at an all time high with young people.

For sure.

Their methods are in a course you get from the website, it fluctuates with the changing value of USD/ruble, but it was about 95USD when I got it a year ago. given the cost for similar bandaid solutions that are invasive and surgical, 95 bucks feels almost free, lol. They also take questions and feedback, and continually test and improve.
