Whats wrong with my nails?

I’ve sent these photos to a GP and a dermatologist and they don’t think it’s fungal, but not sure what it Is, any idea? The nails are cut and filed as low as possible. It's happened to about 4-5 of the nails and seems like its starting to appear on others too.

I apologise for how disgusting my fingers look, its what years of eczema does to them.

Zinc deficiency or deficiency of one/some of the B vitamins or both. Fungal would make the nails thicker.

You have itching at the base of your nails, you feel tingling in your fingers, your fingers swell or deform, what other symptoms do you show besides this discoloration of your nails?

Ah interesting, I'd be surprised if its zinc deficiency as I eat lots of red meat, maybe a B Vit Def though

Therefore, until proven otherwise, you can exclude the fungal variant.

Early fungal might look like that. Before thickening occurs.
