What's the minimal daily intake of carbs before your body starts producing cortisol in response?

There probably isn't a "one size fits all" answer to this question. Body weight and countless other factors are likely to influence the amount.

There is always cortisol present but 200-300g of carbohydrates a day is usually sufficient to reduce excessive cortisol secretion. If we are talking about the average male it would be near 300g or possibly more if you exercise a good amount daily.

Cortisol is usually released to raise blood sugar. If sufficient/maintenance calories are coming in regularly, the body won't have to reach for stores. US RDA for carbs is 130 grams (likely assumes typical weight and body fat).

My cortisol issue is due to low blood sugar. How on Earth do I fix it?
