When I first wake up in the morning I can usually feel my heart pounding I don't know if it's adreanline or not as my temp is nearly always 96.8.

I've seen people mention that one should take their temp 2 hours after breakfast?

Is that advice just to see if the temp goes up or not or is the idea that you're aiming for a certain temp and if so what temp would that be?

It should be higher then your wake up temperature. Wake up temp should be 97.8-98.2.

heart pounding when you wake up = adrenalin

You can start with a small amount of salt in a little water, which may help.

I'm slowly getting my temps up from the 96s. HR around 48 or 50, now seems to be gaining as well.

Your temps indicate you are probably hypo thyroid as well.

Yes I take 3 grains of NDT.

Even though my ft4 and ft3 are not crazy low without it, 3 grains only barely brings them into the normal range - go figure.
