This would depend largely on kidney and liver function, but studies have shown that intake of even 3g/kg of body weight is generally safe in healthy(ish) people and leads to muscle growth and fat loss even without exercise.

Peat believes that protein cannot be safely digested without sufficient sugar. Peat doesn't say precisely what sufficient sugar is, but he seems to suggest about 2:1 sugar to protein by weight. Using haidut's studies then, a safe level would be at least 6g sugar/3g protein/1kg bodyweight.

However, Peat also suggests that additional sugar may be needed to be protective against stress, and so the more indications of stress you have, the more sugar you will need in that ratio.

For example, in parenteral nutrition, for a highly stressed patient, the ratio is 3g sugar/1 g amino acids. In an analysis of human milk, the percentage of sugar may be higher yet.
