What Is The Maximum Amount Of Nutritional Yeast Per Day?

At the moment i just sprinkle some non fortified nutritional yeast on to my food. I want to increase to 5g or even 10g, that seems a lot but it comes with lots and lots of B vitamins at them amounts. Would 10g a day be okay? Or is that too much. What issues could it cause if it was too much?

Did you ever get an answer elsewhere? I am looking at nonfortified NY also, but on another thread, someone cautioned against it because of its high iron. Some NF brands have as much as 40% or 7mg iron. The only one I found NF that doesn't is the KAL NF (European sourced). The iron in that is only about 2%. I have used it before and it has a pretty good flavor IIRC, much like the other ones. Don't know if iron content is lower in this one because it is grown on something different than other brands- maybe beets vs molasses, which would contain a lot of iron, I would guess.

Just checked and yes, it's sourced from beets
