I looked this up last night as a matter of fact Red grapes and cherries were the ones that stood out that are also Peat-safe. I was thinking of switching out oj for cherry juice for various reasons and am wondering now if I would need to supplement vit k if I went that route.

Liver might cover you for the vitamin K.

I love oj and grapes. I haven't bought many grapes lately so I think I will.

Dates and Raisins have the highest concentrations, out of Peat friendly fruits.
Red Grapes and Cherries are also high.
Watermelon, Orange Juice/Oranges, and Lychee have good amounts.
Mangoes and Tangerines have small amounts.

Yea but Dates and Raisins are dry. If you compare calories they are probably similar to other fruit listed.

I don't know if you're battling to keep weight off, but for most of us, the extra calories from dried fruits are a GOOD thing. With my hypothyroid, came weight LOSS, not weight gain. I'm 6'2" and I got down as low as 168 lbs, which is skeletal. What I like about this diet, is that I've been gaining back the weight that I've been slowly losing over the years. I've been on the diet 13 days, and have gained 3 lbs. I can't remember the last time I gained weight, despite having tried for the last 5 years.

Apparently, through biological transmutation, dates and raisins develop more salicyclic acid per calorie than the full water counterparts. This happens sometimes with dried fruit. I first read about in "Conscious Eating" by Gabriel Cousens, then read more about it in several other books.
