What exactly do you think is the reason of what's going on between Russia/Ukraine and potentially other countries.

Interesting article below. It contends that China & Russia see the coming crash of the global dollar financial system and dont want to go down with the ship. It explains China stockpiling commodities last year, as a way to get rid of dollars.

While Putins war had many causes (Nato, nasis etc), one of the foreseen beneficial outcomes was that sanctions would quickly wean Russia's exposure to the dollar economy, and would force Russian businesses to turn away from the West, something Putin would not have been able to do by himself.

China's current illogical lockdown in Shanghai are possibly designed to block up the global supply chains. This will be another nail in the Western economy's coffin.

Thanks for the excellent summary, the link and the podcast with Peat

Megalopolis x Russia: Total War

"Yet the major schism is not on religion but culture: “The key difference between the former West and today’s Megalopolis is that Megalopolis programmatically renounces the humanistic heritage of the West.”

So now “it is possible to erase not only the musical canon, but also the entire European humanistic heritage: the entire literature, fine arts, philosophy” because of a “trivialization of knowledge”. What’s left is an empty space, actually a cultural black hole, “filled by promoting terms such as ‘posthumanism’ and ‘transhumanism’.”

And here Vladusic gets to the heart of the matter: Russia fiercely opposes the Great Reset concocted by the “hackable”, self-described “elites” of Megalopolis."

Very bad news - can potentially lead to huge escalation, since next step is NATO moving nukes to Finland in an attempt to blackmail Russia.
This prime minister is so young, perfect for the ruling class, guaranteed she is surrounded by consultancy groups like mckenzie and company like macron, she should have just resigned.

Putin already warned her it would be a huge mistake to give up neutrality and the consequences will hurt everyone.

Finns somehow forgot that Finland was the cradle of the 'Russian' Revolution - it is difficult to overestimate the role of the Finns and Swedes in the victory of Soviets.
But Russians have not forgotten that.

Escobar: Russia Rewrites The Art Of (Hybrid) War

Hybrid War is being fought predominantly in the economic/financial battleground – and the pain dial for the collective West will only go up...

The ironclad fictional “narrative” imposed all across NATOstan is that Ukraine is “winning”.

So why would weapons peddler retrofitted as Pentagon head Lloyd “Raytheon” Austin literally beg since late February to have his phone calls answered by Russian Defense Minister Shoigu, only to have his wish finally granted?

It’s now confirmed by one of my top intel sources. The call was a direct consequence of panic. The United States Government (USG) by all means wants to scotch the detailed Russian investigation – and accumulation of evidence – on the US bioweapon labs in Ukraine, as I outlined in a previous column.

Pipe dream. They'll stay in Europe where the gravy train is and it's not so corrupt

NATO vs Russia: what happens next
In Davos and beyond, NATO's upbeat narrative plays like a broken record, while on the ground, Russia is stacking up wins that could sink the Atlantic order.

This week’s meetings in Davos brings to light another alignment forming in the world’s overarching unipolar vs. multipolar battle. Russia, the baby twins, Chechnya and allies such as Belarus are now pitted against ‘Davos leaders’ – in other words, the combined western elite, with a few exceptions like Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Zelensky will be fine. He’s protected by British and American special forces. The family is reportedly living in an $8 million mansion in Israel. He owns a $34 million villa in Miami Beach, and another in Tuscany. Average Ukrainians were lied to, robbed, and in many cases, murdered, by the Kiev gang he presides over – oligarchs, security service (SBU) fanatics, neo-Nazis. And those Ukrainians that remain (10 million have already fled) will continue to be treated as expendable.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir “the new Hitler” Putin is in absolutely no hurry to end this larger than life drama that is ruining and rotting the already decaying west to its core. Why should he? He tried everything, since 2007, on the “why can’t we get along” front. Putin was totally rejected. So now it’s time to sit back, relax, and watch the Decline of the West.

His writing is fantastic. I love all the visuals he paints with his dead-on quips.

We know that Putin is a psycho, but we also know that the west is run by a group of psychos.

So you think Ray was right in predicting war as a way to take our awareness off of the whole great reset narrative?
The part of Russia that called by Russians central Russia, is the western part where majority of population lives. It important culturally, historically and politically. So, any destabilization in that area is of huge importance to Russians. US continues geopolitical trend started by Brzezinski towards Russia, a total evil Russophobe in my opinion. There are quite a few of his followers in US government that work hard to make his vision a reality. To me, timing or order of events is secondary. As long as it works towards its geopolitical goal. This is just one of geopolitical “chess games” that American empire plays on a global chess board. So, I see this conflict as a Russia-US one. Ukraine is just a pawn in the game.

His writing is easy for a layman to follow which I like.

I read this by amaranth on the saker (not a real saker fan but you find stuff there):

Sitrep 180 Hot Potato : Ritter, Lira, Johnson and Martyanov

How to actually understand this Hot Potato?, and it is an important one. The Ukraine SMO is only but a small representation of what Russia means by stopping the growth of NATO, indivisibility of security, the security balance in Europe, and most important, military-technical measures. And then, one has to bring into the calculus that China is solid behind Russia in the thinking, and further, that the US pre-amble to actual kinetic action in the Ukraine, is now being duplicated around China. The dead give-away is that SHOULD in Biden’s sentence. Remember the many ‘ifs’ and ‘shoulds’ that we saw in the runup to Russia entering the Ukraine. “President Joe Biden said Washington could be directly involved in conflict should China try to take the island by force.” They are again trying to project and create a condition that is not necessarily there.

And this is the tone change in Ritter’s work. He is projecting a condition that is not necessarily existent and presents it as fact.
