I completed a 100+ day streak of no fap then yesterday i was worried i wasnt getting hard as I use to so i fapped 4. Times with porn it seemed to make things more hard down there and hang lower now that failed how many days to fix the damages I've caused any suppliments i could take please help im feeling depressed badly i hope i didnt mess up my T / receptors has peat ever spoken on this

If you buy into the logic of Aquinas and others masturbation is a moral evil and you should avoid it. If you don't, then idk just don't let it control you.

Either way, don't use porn and don't be surprised that your **** doesn't function normally after you don't do anything with it for over three months

I was thinking about this some more and I realized that when I start to masturbate out of compulsion rather than physiological need to release it's easy for me to stop once I notice that my body is contracting in unnatural, stressful ways (good sign of compulsive behavior conditioned by porn or addiction as opposed to natural behavior). for example I can masturbate completely relaxed and with a calm mind if i am just ending a nofap streak because I feel like it's time but if I am just doing it out of compulsion i can't do it without tensing my legs and especially my psoas muscles and a kind of frantic, unsatisfactory daydreaming or fantasizing

Habitual behavior in the absence of addiction is another thing that's under discussed. I've been gaming excessively since 6 and acquired a porn addiction at 9 or 10 so every now and then just out of habit I'll open a tab for porn or open a game, realize I dont actually even feel like engaging in this behavior on a compulsive level and close the tab. It's kind of a weird thing to experience

Yes i felt i need a release i was horny and just broke up with a girl i was in a long distance relationship with so i felt a release would help me feel better but im not going to mess with porn no more i think its the issue

I have said this multiple times and people can think what they want, I truly feel that my body knows the difference between me ejaculating from self stimulation versus sex or having a GF..... I avoid masturbation, I get strange inflammatory symptoms and spasms and brain fog from masturnation but I can ejacluate 15 times a week from sex and it’s no issue

You probably weren't getting hard because most of the benefits of nofap tend to peak around a week. Your testosterone peeks within a week, and after about 30 days will actually start declining.

If you aren't sexually active, it's still probably beneficial to masturbate once a week. The important thing to keep in mind is to not let it become a chronic issue.

I can go an entire month without it and not even slightly think about sex.

However when I have a sexy girl naked in front of me who has a nice scent down there, I get rock har within three seconds and stay hard.

In terms of penile health, Obviously it's important to be sleeping and well and be in good health to induce night time erections, and once a week at least masturbate to gain a full erection, or if you a partner or FWB then more often in the week

It depends what you want out of life and your state of health. Vigorous masturbation that is more intense than normal intercourse is damaging to penis tissue. A young man in peak health can probably handle an ejaculation per day without hurting health, while someone who is hypothyroid or has other hormonal dysfunction might not be able to handle it at all. But at any age some might find it desirable to intentionally cultivate sexual energy as part of some kind of mind body practice and that usually involves restricting ejaculation to once every 1-4 weeks. Using practices like Qigong, yoga, karezza, tantra, meditation to get into a particular mind body state that generates bliss, comfidence and creativity that can be very good for pair bonding and general well being. Not desirable for everybody but I think for most it’s probably best to at least reduce ejaculation to once per week and not use any stimulation more intense than intercourse. If pornography is ever consumed it’s probably best it be infrequent and appreciation of natural beauty rather than novel bizarre fetishes from the minds of people who are not well.

Wow, congrats on 100+ days. I think masturbation is awful. I only ever feel an extreme need to do it when I’m stressed or depressed.
