Above ref range dhea-s here too. A few theories as to why it can be high but need some corrective action?

I think its only anti test if u dont get enough carbs
500mg metformin before bed give me very quality sleep, If you awake or not tired before bed, metformin acts like a anticortisol agent, suddenly you get trans, high dhea-s low shbg related insulin resistance, berberine is not strong, but prescription dose of metformin is quite a lot, 250mg is enough

Why take it before bed? It dramatically lowers blood sugar levels so would probably explain the worsened sleep.
Best to take before/with carb heavy meals throughout the day

prescription is with meal or before meal, but I try all medications different times for observation. Metformin is best sleep agent for about one week, but after a meanwhile body can get resistance for it.

You get trans? Why would dheas go up if cortisol is down?

yes, we take for this purpose. I didn't say different. anticortisol activity of metformin is before sleep(*) . dhea is not bad, it is protective but if the fire(cortisol) is a lot, dhea is high(according hans)

So ive been exploring all sorts of things lately.
Did yall know that biotin is needed for zinc homeostasis and that countless anecdotes on the internet claim biotin made them break out.

then theres is b5 pantothenic acid. Countless annecdotes claim it stops acne and it causes hairloss (persumably in its competition with biotin)
Whats interesting enough is women have claimed biotin causes hiristuism, this made me think adrenals are involved. They sure are.

Look at this study here b5 defeciency in this secnario causes a higher rise in dheas.

Does this mean that taking b5 and b7 is a cure for these problems? I have been taking B complex for a while and have not noticed much of a difference.
