Weird Skin Rash, Help

Hi,

My husband has a really weird rash on his face for about 2 years now. No doctor was able to help him or even identify what it actually is. It’s not acne, the last assumption from one of the “best” and private doctors in town was rosacea. The creams seemed to help first, but it all came back (see pictures).
It comes and goes periodically, doesn’t seem to have any correlation to certain foods of drinks nor weather. We really don’t know what to do or try anymore and hope for suggestions and help...! Thanks in advance.

Have you tried 2 weeks of doxycycline; bet it improves 80%

A month's worth even better

hives on face

could be histamine or

accumulation of bile salts or

food toxins like oxalates, salycylates, or

something called cholgenic uticaria

try eliminating fat, eggs, and salt.

also can try fasting.

I’d try the following:

Lysine supplementation, taken at same time as zinc and selenium and molybdenum.

Glycine supplementation.

Applying DMSO with Lugol’s Iodine.

Soaking a large bandaid with apple cider vinegar and cover the spots. Leave on for 24 hours, take a day off and then repeat.

Same thing as above but with 3% hydrogen peroxide every 3 or 4 hours.

Be really careful with the vinegar recommendation, within a couple of days the soaking tissue will die, will bruise and perhaps turn necrotic.

I’ve done this without anything bad like that happening. I only did 3 applications though, with day long breaks in between. YMMV. Perhaps extending the treatment past that does some damage.

if it is itchy/stings/feels hot and like it's burning/springs up out of nowhere, it could be rosacea?
If it is rosacea, then it's a symptom of inflammation. A good topical remedy for rosacea is crushed up aspirin mixed with honey and used as a face mask for at least 20 mins - otherwise lower inflammation in the diet.

Ive seen a couple people do it based on a skin tag recommendation and what I mentioned happened, it was crazy looking. Id hate to see someone burn or scar their face

Yikes! Good looking out.

@Joline if the vinegar treatment becomes painful then definitely stop the treatment early. Not everyone’s skin can handle it for prolonged periods.
