Water retention/swollen fingers in the morning but not evening?

I’ve noticed that my rings don’t fit in the morning but they are loose in the late afternoon and evening. Does anyone know why? I only found things about water retention in general but not on these regular pattern.

Hi Gallahad,

I’ve had it for at least half a year, that’s when I started paying attention. I don’t take any meds or supplements. I want to be sure it’s not a kidney issue.
