Hi guys,

Does anybody have a problem with wart/tag?

The most difficut it's one on my lower eyelid between eyelashes. It's small but it's look nice. It's tricky to remove it topically because it's close to my eye.
I noticed it a few weeks ago.

How to get rid of warts orally ?It's virus.

I've been taught to fight warts with the milk from a dandelion stalk. Had a couple of successes on medium-sized warts that way. Don't know how easy it would be be to get into your tricky position, but milder than some treatments. May only need to do it once or twice to be effective, if you are lucky.

BUMP

I'm dealing with plantar and common warts that only seem to be spreading. This is well after I've got into Peating.

The only thing I have done that may have done to predispose to warts is lessen my vitamin d supplementation signficantly and get less sunlight.

Any recommendations would be nice.

Thanks Tara,

Will try it, having on eyelid it's tricky.

Grenade I've heard that actually increasing vit.D and sunlight should help, at least what Ray said.

I've heard anecdotes of oral vitamin d resolving warts. There are studies showing topical and intralesional vitamin d helping, as well as a case study of topical vitamin a helping too.

One other thing is that I've slashed my fat consumption to about 5-10% of my daily calories in the past year. Most of my fats came from dairy, red meat, or coconut oil before. I read that lauric acid (the majority of the fatty acid in coconut oil) is potently antimicrobial, and since I haven't been having any, I may have further predisposed mysef to warts.

Edit: Do you have a source of Ray saying vitamin d / sunshine helping kill off warts?

Have you had a dermatologist check it out? If there's anyone who'd be able to remove it without damaging your eye, it'd be a derm.

Whether there's a way to resolve sustematically through diet/lifestyle/supplementation, there's a number of testimonials here on the board. Just search on google "wart site:raypeatforum.com". Unfortunately I'm not one of those people and am struggling with warts cropping up.

Are you “sure” it is a wart? Among the things I or my family have experienced, milia, chalazion, clogged gland/pimple, styes, and other things are more common. I have seen xanthelasmas on acquaintances.

Ophthamologists are the specialists who probably see these things the most. For sure, if vision is affected, seek their expertise promptly. If hygiene around the eye is new to you (hand washing, not rubbing, contact lens/cosmetic care), do a web search. Many eyelid bump issues are helped by warm compresses.

While avoiding getting things in the eye, supportive substances like vitamin D or K or E (liquid/oil) can be applied somewhat nearby, on the cheek or temple. That has helped me with lid infections, delivering nutrients nearby.

Agreed. I said to see a derm, but an opthmalogist might be more appropriate. If anything, the derm would refer you to an opthmalogist.

Tara, where does one get the milk of dandelion stalk outside of spring? It's too cold where I live and it'll be another month or two until they start growing here.

I don't know. If it were me, I'd just wait a month or two till they start growing. You only need a very small amount.

Wow, dandelion milk for warts. Been a long time since I heard that. I had a wart on my thumb as a child. Dandelion milk was what I put on it. took a long while but went eventually.

There is a lot solutions gor warts, but on eyelid it's tricky to put anything, because it's close to an eye.
ACV, tea tree oil, salicylic acid, zinc oxide, aspirin are good for warts on the body if you have bigger warts, I havr tiny one so only I can wipe it with solution.

Deficiency in potassium and zinc can cause warts too.
I was just reading that hot water could work too.
Maybe applying coconut oil?

Here are some remedies for warts on the eyelid.

Causes Of Warts On Eyelid: 5 Home Remedies for Warts Removal

I read the same about zinc and potassium. Maybe that's why taping a banana pee to a wart had been said to be effective???

The hot water case study was really interesting. The subject's feet were absolutely ravaged in warts, and merely soaking them in hot water 30 minutes daily made a huge difference within weeks. The subject had HIV, too, which makes it more remarkable.

I've also got this problem- although I think mine is more of a "stye"- although I'm not sure of the difference. See photo attached. Would appreciate any advice on how to fix this.

Doctor gave me topical anti biotics - Gentamicin - it's not one of the safe ones Ray talks about..

Here's a list of things I've read that might help

Things to try (nothing tried as of yet):

Hot compress
T3
ACV
tea tree oil
salicylic acid
zinc oxide
aspirin
Potassium
