Waking up with very shiny/wet eyes

Hey guys, lately I've been waking up every morning with very wet eyes in the morning (but no sign of irritation). I remember that sometimes diabetic patients can have this condition but I don't have any hypoglycemia symptoms or don't feel bad so wondered what could be the cause?

According to chinese medicine liver imbalances will manifest in the eyes. Blurred vision, excessive tearing etc. Are you drinking too much coffee, taking too much taurine? Not eating enough fruit? Could also be allergies or virus, cold etc.

Well I used to have eyes issues but no more since I'm not eating PUFA. I havea flu today so I guess it was the start of the infection.
