I read most of this book and she recommends MK-7.

Vitamin K2 And The Calcium Paradox: Kate Rheaume-Bleue: 9781443428071: Books - Amazon.ca

Kate is an N.D. from Canada and recommends MK-7. I have read that Jarrow is a good brand of Mk-7.
Dr. Bleue appears to be an expert on K2. Please comment.

A few excerpts from Dr. Kate Bleue N.D. (Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox)

Page 139 : Vitamin K2 for Fertility:

"Osteocalcin, produced by the skeleton's bone-building osteoblast cells, induces the testes to produce testosterone. This stimulates sperm production and survival, having a fundamental effect on fertility. Osteocalcin-deficient male mice have significantly smaller testes and decreased sperm counts, and display 60 percent to 80 percent lower circulating testosterone levels compared with healthy litter mates."

"Osteocalcin binds to testicular Leydig cells, the body's key testosterone factories. The dependence of osteocalcin production on vitamin D makes both vitamins D and K2 essential to male fertility. Research on fertility and the benefits of vitamin K2 is at its earliest stage of discovery."

Page 26 : History of Vitamin K2:

"In 1975, researchers at the Harvard Medical School discovered the vitamin K2-dependent protein osteocalcin, which we now know to be a critical factor in drawing calcium into bones and teeth to prevent osteoporosis and dental cavities.

Very interesting. Leydig cells also require cholesterol to produce Testosterone as well.

MK-7 is found in fatty foods like animal meats, ground beef, egg yolks, Cheese's (Brie and Gouda), Butter, High Fat dairy, Salami etc.. and what do you know.. good amounts of cholesterol are also found in these exact same foods.

Funny how nature works doesn't it? Has all the appropriate nutrition for the body wrapped up in food already without the need for exogenous supplementation.

Yeah, what a sad food industry messed almost everything up for profit.
