Vitamin D From UV (UltraViolet) Lights?

I know, not as natural as getting it from sunlight, but isn't it better than taking potentially allergenic vitamin D supplements? Just having a UV light on for a 10-15 minutes each day in your room. Thoughts?

@haidut do you know anything about this?

Aren't some tanning beds considered to be *safer/healthier* than others?

Been thinking about this too 'cause I've noticed feeling better when I don't take the supplement. Warmer and better mood.
