Unlike other posts I made recently, the study used the common/inactive form of B6 (the Hcl salt) and the human equivalent dosage was 25mg-30mg for human.

Yes, you can divide the Hcl dose by 5 and you get a VERY conservative estimate for P5P. Some studies found the same plasma increases in P5P from a dose as little as /10 of the Hcl dose, so I guess a lower bound would be division by 10. The factor of 1/10 is especially relevant as you get older since you don't convert much B6 Hcl into P5P. Thus, in older people only 1/10 of the Hcl dose is needed if taken as P5P.

I always felt worse with p5p, even though it is supposedly better.
