Hi everyone,

I haven't been able to find where RP recommends to get Vits A & D if you can't/won't eat liver.

The dairy products I've seen don't seem to have much A or D in them, so I guess I should take a supplement. I welcome any guidance here.

Also if you know what amounts of each vitamin Ray recommends, that would be helpful too.

I find it pretty difficult to find answers to my questions in his articles and interviews.

Thanks for your help!

Whole milk has about 1000 IU. 1 large egg has 250 IU.
He recommends about 5000 IU for average hypothyroid person.
This requirement increases with increased metabolism.
You can also try supplement for vitamin A.
He thinks 50 ng/mL is a good target for vitamin D.

Thank you Mittir!

So since I am mildly hypothyroid (TSH 2.5 T3 3.0) but am not taking thyroid meds I guess I will go with 5000 IU for Vitamin A.
