Hello - newbie here.
I've only been peating for about a week but so far it's seems so do-able! I'm still getting adjusted to the fact that I can eat fruit and dairy - something I have considered no-nos for the past 20 or so years for one reason or another.

One question (for now) - does anyone know if Dr. Peat has a preference of Distilled White Vinegar over Apple Cider Vinegar? Seems like I read somewhere that the carrot salad was supposed to be made with white vinegar. AC vinegar has had a lot of good press for so long so I was wondering if anyone had known Dr. Peat to state a distinct preference?

Thanks for your advice. I love this forum and will be checking in regularly for guidance.

That's a good question. I have used Apple Cider Vinegar so far. I like the taste. I don't know what Peat thinks about the two variants.

Thanks John Eels. I hope others may have additional information. Meanwhile I'm going to post other questions. Thanks again!

Thanks everyone. I'll stick with distilled white vinegar for the carrot salad.
