Would this work well? :ugeek:

I sleep with an open window and curtain to let air in, if I don't it gets way too hot and there is a pretty bright blue light emitted by a streetlight outside my window.

I googled for this and found a few results

green and blue cellophane block out the blue light

To provide very pure red or far red light for experimentation, coloured cellophane filters can be employed. Red cellophane is utilized with white fluorescent light, blocking out all but the red. This light is already in far-red. Both red and blue cellophane together with incandescent light blocks out all but the far-red.

However, I can't find any REAL data on how effective cellophane or color/light gels are at blocking light. I suspect, well, not very much, but surely, better than nothing, right?

Post your thoughts :D

Orange/amber colored "window films" or "car window tints" would work.

here is a very good example:

I guess orange/amber cellophane filters would also be fine. No idea how that looks on a window though. They probably won't stick to the glass like special window films would.

It also seems like we're alone with our blue light / red light adventures.
Either most people who tried it seriously in the past felt like it did not benefit them or they reached some state of full enlightenment and don't post here anymore...
