Traditionally, in real economics, price comes down to 3 things:

-The price of the land
-The price of materials (essentially this means oil as it's can be used to mine other materials like metal)
-The price of labour

The elites already own all the land. So the only way to steal more money from us besides inflation and tax is by

1. Creating an artifical scarcity of fuel (aka oil) via economically gripping it
2. Creating an abundance of cheap labor aka letting in anyone who wants to come in, even of they don't bring anything to the table

Automation is actually a good thing, as long as the elites don't own the machines. If automation becomes a process like buying a car, then normal people could buy a few machines and run a small business in their backyard or in their house. This would be best case. Small business run by people of the community would also be great. Goods would become far cheaper, allowing normal people to become creators online or anything they can dream of, and even if they get small views they can still live on it like a low paying job.

Energy is half of the equation. Energy is the main limiter as it is used, like labor, to actually create the things that we use to make things. There's enough oul in this for a very long time. If we didn't have an oil cartel oil would be even cheaper.

The Big Corp has been using slave labor to produce things no one needs just to keep the engine running. With the fabricated crisis following worldwide lockdowns, it seems that they are throwing a wrench in the engine...
