I've been looking for quite a while now for a lamp to set-up some red light bulbs on with 3-prong grounded plugs.
Any kind of device that is 2-prong puts out a decent "electrical field," though it dies out pretty shortly. But it would be nice to find a grounded one - but I haven't been able to find one anywhere.
I've looked at the heat lamp setups as well as floor lamps, all of them are 2-prong ungrounded. I'm assuming it's because lamps generally don't need to be grounded, while a more sensitive device like a laptop it would be more important for. But not really sure.
