In Vietnam, US soldiers fragged COs who got on their bad side. That helped end the war

I’m starting to think they want as many dead as possible so they won’t talk.

Thank you. It’s all just guesswork mind, based on a limited scope of sources from all sides.

Yes, that’s what I meant to say. For the reasons Perry gave:

….

Odessa and Dmjepro Are interesting. Maybe Russia one day will opt to destroy odessas port and infrastructure completely, to cut of Ukraine’s sea acces - if they can’t conquer it. Same for dnjepros economical and agricultural hub-facilities.

I still think Russia will dig in once they secured the Donbas fortifications.
Excellent summary, appreciate your input

Fighters of the 115th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who complained about the lack of fire support and low morale, were sent to pre-trial detention center No. 6 in Bakhmut, accused of desertion. Mash reports.

“Pre-Trial Detention Center No. 6, 115th Brigade, they call us deserters,” says a voice-over in a video showing soldiers.

In mid-May, the military recorded an appeal to their leadership, in which they stated that they had not prepared reserve positions for retreat and had not provided fire support.

“The lack of support for fire damage by the forces and means of the senior commander, as well as the incompetent activities of the higher command, led to the loss of military equipment and the death of personnel, which contributed to the demoralization of personnel. At the moment, the personnel are not able to perform combat missions due to their low moral and psychological state, ”the appeal said.

Another video with the participation of the fighters of this brigade appeared on May 19. They complained about their command and refused to follow the orders of the President of Ukraine. According to the military, they are sent to certain death.

How long before Ukr troops realize they'll be better off fragging/arresting their COs and surrendering?

Meanwhile western sources talk about Russia losing troops and having bad morale, as opposed to Ukraine which is apparently confident and winning.

Ukrainian agriculture needs this reform to reach its “full economic potential”. Red flag.

Although Ukraine has large swaths of the most fertile farmland in the world, the wealth of its agriculture sector has long remained largely out of reach of the country’s farmers. In the country known as the “breadbasket of Europe,” agriculture has been dominated by oligarchs and multinational corporations since the privatization of state-owned land following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. For the past thirty years, no government has been able to meaningfully challenge that status quo.

Will this change, now that a controversial law to create a land market entered into effect on July 1, 2021?

Whereas proponents claim (link) that a land market is necessary to attract the foreign investment that Ukrainian agriculture needs to achieve its full economic potential, many (link) Ukrainians (link) believe (link) that agriculture in Ukraine will only become more corrupt and controlled by powerful interests as a result of the new land reform law (link).
