Fully cooked, ready to eat. Price may vary by weight. I'm sure it's not 100% grass fed from birth to death but it's pretty good. I view it as a carnosine, carnitine, creatine, and taurine supplement.

I'm assuming that it has no nitrates/nitrites because they're not listed as ingredients. It has that East Coast "Roast Beef" style to it, or what we used to refer to growing up as "Roast Queef." I like to keep it in the fridge at any time for a quick protein snack. I make it last a couple days.
