Entertaining guy. I think Peat seems skeptical of hyper and I remember reading that he thought some people diagnosed with hyper were actually hypo. I wonder if he has addressed this issue in more detail in any of his
interviews ?

Elevated metabolism, increased usage of oxygen, lowers TSH etc. of this storm all sounded good. But the negative side effects were scary !

No kidding, I thought about you, Charlie, watching that one... :)

This one is good too, unfortunately the best part comes after, "The Pathophysiology of the Thyroid Gland" and that is not on YouTube. His site requires registration for viewing the continuation, where he talks about hypo- and hyperthyroidism. These are not intended for the general public, btw, but for medical students... Anyway, he is awesome and I plan to register to his site and continue viewing some things. I learned a whole lot from him in very little time.
