Thoughts on this wagyu beef?

Don’t buy it. Wagyu beef is high in fat. The rule is if it is grass fed than buy high fat because that is where high nutrition is stored and if it is corn, soy and grain fed buy low-fat because that fat is where most of the toxins are, lots of PUFA.

Most wagyu in the US anyhow isn't real. I mean it's real meat, just not genuinely wagyu.

Probably because they don’t massage the cows like they do in Japan.
No because it's an actual cattle breed and there's only 5000 genuine waygu cattle in the US.

It's not actually massaged & all the other silly things people assume, it's a specific cattle breed with very specific characteristics to the beef.

In the US what they sell as "waygu" is an at best 1/4-1/2 breed, typically crossed with Angus. The meat is nothing like actual waygu.

Also, Japan, highly regulates the beef living or otherwise that's being exported.
