Author of the Warrior Diet.

He promotes a pretty stress-centric lifestyle that goes at odds with Peat in many instances, including daily 20hr fasts. But I gotta say, at 65 yrs old he looks to be doing pretty good, maybe a bit too thin, but rock solid eyebrows and dense facial hair - indicative of good thyroid function and high androgen levels, as well as good hair and teeth. So is this just his genetics, or is intermittent fasting compatible with good hormonal health?

I've yet to read his latest book but I think he argues that regular exposure to acute intense stressors make us more resistant to chronic stress, ie that trying to lead a cushy, comfortable "stress-free" life will in the end just make you more stressed out.

Maybe the role of stress in health is quite different for men and women though, considering that Peats work is heavily biased towards female health.

Subjective I know but he looks like he's really aged since I last saw him.
