Thiroyd and cynoplus

Hi everyone hope all is well with all

I switched from thiroyd to cynoplus quite recently but im a bit confused as to the switch. I used 2 thiroyd pills each day and how much is that in regards to cynoplus? I've used 1/2 of cynoplus today and feeling quite invigorated but utterly confused.

It looks like 1 tablet Cynoplus has 120mcg T4 and 30mcg T3. One 60mg Thiroyd tablet (one grain) has 35 mcg T4 and 8.31 mcg T3. If this is correct (please double check) the rough conversion would be 3.5 Thiroyd tablets = 1 Cynoplus tablet.

I think you gave the amounts in Naturethroid and not Thiroyd, from your second link, although the amounts are still close.

THIROYD (yes, that’s how they spell it) by Greater Pharma Ltd., a leading Thai Pharmaceutical Manufacturer. An email to a patient by Greater Pharma states that “thiroyd” at one grain contains T3 at 8.31 microgram; T4 at 35 microgram, which is 0.013% and 0.058% respectively.

I just switched from cynoplus/cynomel to thiroyd and I'm currently at 2 grains a day. Makes sense to me that I may need to take more, given these numbers.

Good catch, I edited the post to avoid confusion. This puts the ratio closer to 3.5 Thiroyd tablets to one Cynoplus tablet.

It probably goes without saying that trusting a stranger on the internet to calculate your pharmaceutical dose is extremely dangerous.

Still Thiroyd much cheaper and easier to titrate since it is not as potent. I'm now up to 6 gr a day. I know that seems high but it is what I need right now. This week the pounds are beginning in melt away with no side effects so far.
