I don't think stopping political threads will do anything to prevent infiltration by feds/hasbara/shills etc. Best thing is to just be aware and to call them out when they manifest.

Everyone, very important. I’ve noticed on social media platforms like YouTube there is a flood of gaslighting (Gaslighting - Wikipedia) comments and inflammatory remarks from dummy accounts created fairly recently in the last few months (particularly around the election). Many simply gas-light reality itself. For example: “This forum is a bunch of N****”.

I highly suspect that there is some coordinated effort on big social media.

They are actively removing any comments that don't go in the direction of the channel owner' narrative.

You could deputise a bunch of reliable posters. They might not be as active as the committed mods, but could swing the banhammer when there is something definitely bad. Just make sure that they are level headed.

If these things escalate, a new strategy is needed. As of now, let’s not get paranoid

We will know for sure when they are here, it’s completely manic, they start slowly with subtle baiting, the threads could just be random, many folks still follow popular media and culture which is pumping woke propaganda 24/7, it could just be parroting for virtue points, until it lands on their door step it won’t register with them.

Same reasons I quit doing wikipedia editing. the pharma shills and the political shills would change everything posted about being healthy naturally or political wrongs. At least whatever a person posts here stays unless the webmaster (Charlie) decides it needs to be removed

Yep, Wikipedia is a big business and big government PR agency, I tried editing the allopregnenolone page, they changed the name to the brand name brenaxolone when big pharma released it for postpartum depression. They charge 35,000 dollars for a weeks course, allopregnenolone should not be priced this high, they don’t want people to register this on the page, using the brand name implies it’s the only way to get it.
Some "doctor" was editing the page.

We should still discuss "controversial" topics, it’s better they are dispersed around the forum, most of woke are pickled with SSRI’s and recreational drugs, they won’t have the attention span to filter through all the threads.
Its worse if all of our opinions are centered in one thread on a woke topic, a bait thread essentially, a lazy journalist would have a field day.

@LeeLemonoil I agree we shouldn’t get too paranoid, the woke is seeping into all aspects of our lives, folks are bound to parrot what the MSM and pop culture are pumping so its likely thats an element of what we are witnessing here.

I dont think this is a proof way. I have experienced very dormant old accounts on other forums who suddenly start posting in unision in such woke threads

It was good in the beginning. I could snail-mail a small donation for Christmas no need to declare myself - now - forget it they want to know all about the people who donate. Now their biggest donors are the same ones appearing on these 'types' of articles:
