I believe it is not a coincidence that 9 years later, the so-called Event 201, sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – BMGF (a close associate of the Rockefellers), the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine – JHSM (created and funded by The Rockefellers) and the World Economic Forum – WEF (a consortium of neoliberal capitalist entrepreneurs and thinkers), computer-simulated the first scenario outlines by the Rockefeller Report, the “Lockstep Scenario”, a corona virus outbreak creating worldwide havoc, killing 65 million people in 18 months, and destroying / destabilizing a large part of the world economy, creating misery, famine and death.
Although there is no direct reference to the clear eugenics agenda of the R-Report, its focus is on how philanthropy may help shape the future of the poor, of developing countries. SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.
The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.

I doubt elites are interested in actual depopulation. They seem more interested in population control. Breeding a dumber and more obedient slave class that worships them. Their focus seems to be filtering out personalities in the developed world who don’t respect them and making it much harder for them to acquire wealth and influence. While backfilling the developed world with fresh masses from the global south to exploit for labor and as mercenaries.
There is no reason they aren't interested in both things. Gates and other elites have publicly repeatedly expressed concerm about overpopulation and the stress it puts on natural resources. And it's obvious they need some slaves for the dystopia to function. Major reduction of population also serves the purpose of making it much easier and manageable to control those (their future slaves) who survive.

Aspirin: In general, these drugs work in straightforward ways, by attaching to receptors on the surface of our cells and either activating them or blocking them from being activated.The body then breaks them down, usually quite fast, and their cellular effects wear off. They must be dosed again after a few hours or a day. At this point, after generations of developing them, scientists and physicians understand how they work quite well. Even so they need to be carefully tested because they can have off-target effects or be toxic in unexpected ways. But we’re pretty good at making them. In fact even 20 years ago we were so good at making them that we had hit most of the obvious targets for them, like cholesterol and blood pressure and diabetes. Unfortunately, fiddling with cell receptors can only do so much. Most cancers, brain diseases, autoimmune diseases, and genetic disorders are simply not amenable to small-molecule treatments. Treating them requires larger and more complicated proteins and enzymes that mimic the body’s existing proteins, attach to specific parts of deranged cells (cancer or other), or have other effects.
