When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.

Glad y'all enjoyed the quote.

Seems highly relevant to recovering one's health and to Ray Peat's work.

Yes, I suspect a lot of us know that feeling, and after your minocycline and thyroid adventures, you may feel like you've clobbered that rock -- or perhaps it's clobbered you -- a few hundred times.

But with each experiment you perform with your diet, sleep, activities, or supplements, you're learning more precisely where and how to pound the rock.
