The smell of lamb kidney is utterly repulsive, is it supposed to smell this way, how can i rid it of this smell. If anyone else eats kidney, what is the best way to remove the smell, cook it and prepare it properly, cook it so nutrients aren't damaged and also is it important to remove ALL of the white fat inside? What would happen if you didn't remove all the fat?
if it smells bad, dont eat it. frankly organ meats are not healthy in my opinion. no matter what Peat says. its where the garbage is. kidney is where waste is filtered. gross. same with liver.

They need to be soaked in a salty milk solution with a little apple cider vinegar in it for at least two or three hours. Then you drain that liquid and slow cook them for five or six hours in a liquid like grape juice or wine or broth and some spices. The finished product won't have any of that pungent gross flavor that everyone's talking about..... 😏
