Most women don’t entertain the third wave feminist ideals. What worked in the past was that men were strong willed (because they had higher testosterone and lower estrogen). Now a guy is over analyzing in his mind, rather than riding life at the top with near-cavalier obliviousness.

Almost every women I interact with, doesn’t want a world where they are equal in same traits, as men. They want the more traditional society of complimentary values. Their “spidey senses” of being unattracted to a dude who doesn’t take care of himself or make an effort to make women feel safe and heard, will repel them, and that’s good. Most people are living out of their ancient instincts in a face to face interaction.

Subconscious depression is the primary factor in men complaining/unwilling to fix themselves. It’s learned helplessness. I was there myself, so I’m not saying “pulling one’s self up by the bootstraps” is even good advice.

I don't disagree with what you said, but the condescending advice coming from the more "trad" part of the population and the idea of women being above judgement/having no responsibility for the current situation can be very infuriating.

Culture also seems hyperfocused on what women want, women still want traditional "real" men? Fine, but this generation of men is so demoralized from all fronts (in our biology, in the education system, in mainstream culture... society as a whole basically) that it doesn't care enough to become traditional, especially since there is a big portion of women who want a real man but want to act as sh*tty as they can and expect men to just take it because "real men" do that (i know the women in your community aren't like that, you already made that clear in multiple posts )

I think this thread just proves we really do need a savior and always have. Nothing has changed since the fall. We bow to our flesh. Both sexes. Also being Christian in the US doesn't guarantee a godly life. Many modern churches are just motivational centers and attract people who want a good social club where they can continue on being a sinner, no rebuke at all. Where does rebuke typically come from? Recently, a very sincere 25 year old woman posted a personal ad on this forum. While many people were respectful and encouraging, a number of men made some rude/vulgar responses that are pretty typical in many alt forums, stating/implying things like: 25 year olds are too old to be attractive mates; women are too promiscuous in their youth and only want to settle down when they're 'used up' and no one wants them anymore, etc. These posters reek of arrogance, cynicism and disappointment (or sometimes, just foolishness) -- and they're happy to spread it around, with 'the truth hurts!' as the defense. I've frequented alt-type forums for over a decade, so this vein of thinking is not new to me, it's common (not shock posting as I think some ppl imagine it is), and there are obvious elements of truths behind it. Yes, our culture encourages women to be sexually 'liberated' and have many partners; people are encouraged to be at worst neutral about promiscuity; Women are most attractive/fertile in their early twenties, but are discouraged from getting married and having kids young; Women are encouraged to prioritize career and 'finding themselves' before settling down; Many women seem to 'wait too long' and never find anyone, or struggle with infertility if they get married in their 30s; By discouraging early, long term monogamy/marriage, our culture has created a dating game where men at the top can reap the benefit of commitment-free sex with many women, while men at the bottom get little to nothing. This is true. But this constant refrain that if a woman doesn't get married or have kids within the optimal window, this must be because she was a promiscuous/career woman who didn't prioritize finding a husband and settling down ... The older I get, and the more I experience in my own life and friends' lives, the more this rings untrue. I wonder if this refrain is just an echo of a previous era, when this might have been true of most unmarried, childless women, but a refrain that does not describe today's unmarried, childless women accurately at all - or at least not a large segment of them.

Many women I know hardly date at all. They have jobs/careers not because they're particularly ambitious, but because they're on their own and need them to survive. If anything, being ambitious and negotiating in the way you need to in order to rise in many careers is very difficult for many women. Jobs are stressful, crying is common, as is feeling lonely and isolated (even pre pandemic). They're the opposite of promiscuous. In some cases they've suffered a wounding or traumatic relationship/breakup in their early twenties, and it takes them years before they feel recovered from it and ready to date again. So 24 becomes 30, and those prime relationship building years of their lives are lost to them. Often the men they date have no interest in marriage -- maybe they should date more strategically, or aggressively, and vet potential dates for marriage immediately. Some women can do that. But many women just ... don't. Especially if they don't have a good network of people encouraging them in this way. I think there are a lot of atomized women out there, desperate for someone to which to attach themselves. So maybe they hang on to a bad boyfriend for 7 years, hoping it will turn into something better, but it never does. "That's her fault!" some may say. I say maybe it's just evidence of the instability of individualism. Or evidence of the necessity of good rituals and conventions. Promiscuity (as encouraged by hookup culture) does not come naturally to many women, but even a desire for long term monogamy is not enough if the culture does not encourage and support it and produce people capable of taking part in it.

As an example, there's a woman named Beatrice Caruso who has a YouTube channel that centers on her weight loss journey, but also dips into her day to day life, relationships, etc. She's 30 years old, but has been single for (I think) something like 4 years or so. IIRC, her last boyfriend dumped her and maybe also cheated on her, it was a bad breakup and evidently she's been unable to really recover from it and find someone new. She's kind hearted, sensitive, funny, and creative. She has a damaged relationship with her father, some problems with social anxiety and binge eating, and recently diagnosed ADHD (and possibly 'autism'). She had a stable job for years as a graphic designer, but recently quit due to feeling under appreciated and taken advantage of at work and being unable to negotiate for a deserved raise (among other things). You can tell she wants to be a good person, and she hates when her awkwardness sends people the wrong message. She is overweight, but I think she's beautiful. She is not promiscuous and 'used up.' She's a sweet, responsible woman who has worked to avoid the financial instability of her parents. She is not an ambitious career woman who has put career success over relationships. But she is single, and struggling to find someone, and, imo, much more representative of the average woman than the flashy, seductive, careerist woman trope we see on tv/movies/social media, the same trope that is still being dragged out to explain why so many women are unmarried, childless, and unhappy.

But does this mean that Gen Z will return to monogamy and early marriage? Maybe, but probably not. Given their rates of mental illness and sense of alienation I imagine they will tend towards celibacy over marriage. (If anyone has any info on this, that would appreciated, interested to see how this plays out) More and more people seem to be taking up the label of "autistic" due to symptoms that seem to reflect an inability to connect with others and function in the way modern life demands. I'm not a social person by any means, and it is really unnerving to think that my state of mind may become the norm soon. I'd rather be an outsider in a society of sane and stable social people, than a relative insider in a society of unhinged, disconnected, dysfunctional people (though the pandemic may have illuminated that that's already the case, hah...).

Women are less and less childless/unmarried as the result of promiscuity/career pursuits. I think it is a dying trope, and a scapegoat that will eventually crumble. Yes, some women follow this path. But more and more are leading lives that are the result of alienation, trauma, atomization, decaying mating rituals, and resulting celibacy. Similar things seem to be happening to men.

As a 59 yr old American man with a lot of experience in this area, allow me to add some insight.

The root cause of the majority of the dissatisfaction and disillusionment in the lives of so many women today is the fact that they have believed the lies that they've been fed in the movies and on television.
The lies that say "You can have it all and you don't need a nan."
"You can sleep with as many guys as you want and travel and see the world and drink as much as you want and there will be no consequences!!!!
"Everything will be great as long as you DO NOT have a husband or kids or a home that is self-sufficient and paid off with no mortgage."
They rejected billions of years of Evolution that got them here today and they believe utter nonsense and bull**** that they see on the screen.

Well I KNOW a 52 year old woman who has lived her entire adult life this way.
She is not very smart and cannot speak intelligently on any subject. She gets upset if you talk too "deeply" about anything.
She is very fat, with big legs, big ****, big stomach, drooping boobs, cellulite, a drinker's nose, not so great teeth, hot flashes, and she snores like a saw mill!!!!
But she doesn't understand why she is so sad and moody and unfulfilled.
She doesn't understand why no DECENT man wants her.
Maybe because she has rode the **** carousel her entire adult life and every single man she knows KNOWS THIS.
Maybe because she gives married men her phone number and allows those "friends" to sleep over when their wives are out of town.
Maybe because she sleeps over her married male boss' house.
Maybe because she goes on vacation with her married male boss.
Maybe because she travels for her job selling poison pharmaceutical drugs and is on the road in hotels and bars half or her life.
Maybe because she has a house that she never cleans and is falling down around her ears and will never pay off the astronomical mortgage.

Shortly thereafter, the incidence of adultery, divorce, and overall dissatisfaction skyrocketed in America.
Why?
Because women who watched soap operas BELIEVED that bull**** they were watching on TV.
They actually believed that everyone was a beautiful doctor or lawyer or actress and were fabulously wealthy and gorgeous.
They actually believed that people sat around all day, doing nothing except drinking martinis and sitting by the pool and had diamonds dripping off of them!
And they believed that the reason that they DID NOT have a dream life like this was because they were wives and mothers
"If only I didn't have this husband and these kids and this house to take care of, I could........" fill in the blank.

So what is the fruit of all this madness?
We have a couple generations of sluts who dress like tramps, drink too much, sleep around, try to compete with their men, and have lots of male "friends."
But they can't bond with one man, so they have no home, no children, and they feel empty.
So they get a couple of Yorkshire Terrier puppies and dress them up in clothes and push them around in strollers and place bumper stickers on their cars "I'm a FUR MOM" or "My Children are Yorkies"
They think they're feeling empty because they don't have any "adventure" in their lives so they TRAVEL.
They are under the stress of being treated like cattle at airports, X-rayed, radiated, and told what to do.
They lose sleep, eat bad food, drink too much alcohol, and spend a lot of money to see the Disney version of failed civilizations.
Then they come home to the same empty home and, in a few weeks, face the stress of the credit card bills that come in the mail.

I know MANY women who live this way.

It has ALWAYS been the nature and the behavior of men to pursue status and wealth.

As a 59 yr old American man with a lot of experience in this area, allow me to add some insight.

The root cause of the majority of the dissatisfaction and disillusionment in the lives of so many women today is the fact that they have believed the lies that they've been fed in the movies and on television.
The lies that say "You can have it all and you don't need a nan."
"You can sleep with as many guys as you want and travel and see the world and drink as much as you want and there will be no consequences!!!!
"Everything will be great as long as you DO NOT have a husband or kids or a home that is self-sufficient and paid off with no mortgage."
They rejected billions of years of Evolution that got them here today and they believe utter nonsense and bull**** that they see on the screen.

Well I KNOW a 52 year old woman who has lived her entire adult life this way.
She is not very smart and cannot speak intelligently on any subject. She gets upset if you talk too "deeply" about anything.
She is very fat, with big legs, big ****, big stomach, drooping boobs, cellulite, a drinker's nose, not so great teeth, hot flashes, and she snores like a saw mill!!!!
But she doesn't understand why she is so sad and moody and unfulfilled.
She doesn't understand why no DECENT man wants her.
Maybe because she has rode the **** carousel her entire adult life and every single man she knows KNOWS THIS.
Maybe because she gives married men her phone number and allows those "friends" to sleep over when their wives are out of town.
Maybe because she sleeps over her married male boss' house.
Maybe because she goes on vacation with her married male boss.
Maybe because she travels for her job selling poison pharmaceutical drugs and is on the road in hotels and bars half or her life.
Maybe because she has a house that she never cleans and is falling down around her ears and will never pay off the astronomical mortgage.
Maybe because she can't cook.
Maybe because her hormones are all messed up and, as a result, she is moody, cranky, constipated, and generally not fun to be around.
LOL!!!!!

So how did we get to this point? How did we go from the American housewife and mother to the above disaster that I just described?

Soap operas were introduced into the American household just after the technology of television became common.
Shortly thereafter, the incidence of adultery, divorce, and overall dissatisfaction skyrocketed in America.
Why?
Because women who watched soap operas BELIEVED that bull**** they were watching on TV.
They actually believed that everyone was a beautiful doctor or lawyer or actress and were fabulously wealthy and gorgeous.
They actually believed that people sat around all day, doing nothing except drinking martinis and sitting by the pool and had diamonds dripping off of them!
And they believed that the reason that they DID NOT have a dream life like this was because they were wives and mothers
"If only I didn't have this husband and these kids and this house to take care of, I could........" fill in the blank.

So what is the fruit of all this madness?
We have a couple generations of sluts who dress like tramps, drink too much, sleep around, try to compete with their men, and have lots of male "friends."
But they can't bond with one man, so they have no home, no children, and they feel empty.
So they get a couple of Yorkshire Terrier puppies and dress them up in clothes and push them around in strollers and place bumper stickers on their cars "I'm a FUR MOM" or "My Children are Yorkies"
They think they're feeling empty because they don't have any "adventure" in their lives so they TRAVEL.
They are under the stress of being treated like cattle at airports, X-rayed, radiated, and told what to do.
They lose sleep, eat bad food, drink too much alcohol, and spend a lot of money to see the Disney version of failed civilizations.
Then they come home to the same empty home and, in a few weeks, face the stress of the credit card bills that come in the mail.

I know MANY women who live this way.
The woman I described above, my twin 32 yr old daughters, my sister....the list goes on and on.
And even though they are all MISERABLE, every single one of them says "I need a man like a fish needs a tennis racket."

Go on ANY dating site.
What do you find in just about EVERY female's profile?
"I'm a strong independent woman. I don't need any man to take care of me. I want someone who take me out, travel, and treat me like the princess I am."

When all of this anti-society falls apart and things return to the Natural Order, women will once again realize what will make them happy.
A man, children, and a safe, comfortable home where they can make a nice nest for everyone.

I'm sorry but you added exactly zero insight to my original post. That one woman you know, who you used as an example, has nothing to do with the phenomenon I'm describing. Maybe go chat about it to other 60 year olds who find your shallow analysis insightful? You can have a big circle jerk with each other, repeating your resentment-disguised-as-critical-analysis. You make it seem like you're bestowing some wisdom here, instead of regurgitating the same tired and gross battle-of-the-sexes discourses that'd been plastering the walls of every social media/forum space for decades...

Also, the fact you would go on that rant, and then tell on yourself by saying your *daughters* are the same way? Sounds like you take zero accountability then, for your role as their father... couldn't set a good example, eh? Or maybe... they saw your example of masculinity, and wanting NOTHING to do with it... It absolutely did start with women changing and here's the proof.

It has ALWAYS been the nature and the behavior of men to pursue status and wealth.
That's the way men are wired....to provide for their people and be the strongest man that they can be and protect the tribe.

What is a complete and total change in Nature is the way women have demanded to be treated as equals when they are not the equals of men.
Anymore than men are the equals of women!
There is no such thing as equality in nature.

Women are approximately 50% of the population, which is more than enough in terms of sheer volume and will to change a society for the worse.

Women used political pressure at the point of a gun (meaning the LAW as their surrogate Daddy or Husband) to force these changes on a world that did not want them!

Women wrecked the civilization by taking the bait....the bright shiny ball that they thought would elevate their lives to some kind of estrogenic Utopia.

Well guess what!

It didn't work and now the society has been wrecked and needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

It's amazing how many people actually believe that I or all 8 billion people on Earth could make them feel something or do something.

I thought women were so "strong and independent" ?

So how could it be one man's fault that a female turns into a feminist?

And why would a woman be so self-destructive as to NOT want to have a mate, children, and a safe, comfortable home?

These are the VERY things that actually caused that same woman to be born and here on this Earth but she thinks they're negatives and shuns them?
