It was a combination of low dose pde-5 inhibitor type herbs, orchic, and lots of squatting type movements.
Maca, yin yang huo, he shou wu, yohimbine, citrulline/arginine 1:1, and tongkat ali.
I can attest to the effectiveness of orchic (perhaps in conjunction with butea superba, boron, and zinc). I am also doing a lot of cycling which has developed my thighs and calves noticeably, and my legs are getting a lot hairier. I feel great and feel really good about how my body looks.

You end up with hypersexuality? Any other interesting effects?

Yes I’ve noticed a fuller more musculature look as well, whilst getting leaner. And yeah I’ve noticed the stimulating aspect too, but it hasn’t effected my sleep much. If anything I see it as a positive, in having more energy. So it’s a plus in my case. This has honestly become my new favorite food/supplement.
Are you still using it ?
I've taken some today and I started sweating after 30 minutes or so.

Yes, I still take it from time to time, but not as often as I was previously. Now my preferred method is using the grounds as a spice, to sprinkle in my meats when cooking them, I.e. beef, lamb, bison, etc. My previous method of ingestion, consistently and over time, led to a very hyper-metabolic/thermogenic state and I actually began losing too much weight. Which I suppose for some, could be seen as a plus. I’m already lean (6-9% BF), so beyond that I tend to lose mostly muscle, in combination with my physically demanding job and lifestyle.

This did nothing for me..been using it about 6 months so plenty of time for it to do whatever it's supposed to do, but i stuck with it anyways as i prefer its flavour profile over ya garden variety pepper

That is insanely lean wow, but good to know that it helped with weight loss.
It does have a strong stimulating/ thermogenic effect.

There's always some non responders to every substance. But with this one I'm baffled that you don't feel anything at all.

There's actually a new study showing that even in people that dont have much brown adipose thermogenesis going on, it sort of regenerates the bodies abilty over time to do BAT.

I personally notice effects from just 1 grain.

I haven't tried taking whole grains just using it as an alternative to regular pepper in a pepper mill, and i season all my food pretty well so i would assume i was getting more than a single grain a day. i bought it from a specialist world spices shop and then i bought another in case that was bunk and i felt nothing from either. just to make sure i have the right stuff the flavour is sort of citrusy? with that mild peppery kick slightly after? and is commonly marketed as "Grains of Paradise"?

A new study just came out confirming it's anti-obesity effect:

Abstract

Purpose: Aframomum melegueta (grains of paradise) seeds have been demonstrated to possess thermogenic potential. However, it is necessary to validate the functional attributes of A. melegueta seed extract in human subjects.
Methods: In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial design, we have examined the thermogenic effects of a standardized A. melegueta seed extract (AfperFit). A total of 70 overweight male and female subjects (BMI ≥25.0 to ≤30.0 kg/m2) aged 20-50 years were enrolled and administered with either 250 mg of AfperFit or placebo in capsule form twice daily for 12 weeks. The primary efficacy endpoints included energy expenditure (indirect calorimetry), body composition (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA)) and fat distribution (computed tomography (CT scan)), analyzed at baseline and after 12 weeks of treatment. The effect of intervention on the quality of life was examined using SF-12 questionnaire.
Results: Consumption of AfperFit significantly increased the energy expenditure (p<0.01), visceral fat area (p<0.001) and visceral to subcutaneous fat ratio (p<0.01) compared to placebo group. Consequently, there was significant body weight loss and reduction in BMI of subjects in AfperFit group compared to placebo (p<0.01). The safety evaluation showed that biochemical and hematological parameters were in the normal range. Supplementation of AfperFit was well tolerated during the study and no adverse effects were observed.
Conclusion: Overall, this study validates the health benefits of A. melegueta seed extract as fat burner and recommends its use as a functional ingredient to improve the quality of life and general health.
