➡️ Why even small amounts of added estrogen can be disruptive
➡️ The purpose of estrogen in women AND men
➡️ Where estrogen is produced in both men and women--it is produced in far more places than you have been told
➡️ Estrogen's effects on a woman's cycle
➡️ Estrogen's link to miscarriages
➡️ Why the progesterone to estrogen balance is so important
➡️ The effects of progesterone ON estrogen

➡️ The estrogen - insulin connection
➡️ Estrogen's effect on sugar and fat metabolism
➡️ Insulin, estrogen and diabetes connection
➡️ How the fish oil industry got established

Is there a transcript of the podcast somewhere?
After listening the first couple of minutes, I couldn't focus anymore bc of all the 'stuttering' ...it felt like someone was constantly pushing a play/pause button.

Hi I am just a bit confused by something Ray peat said in this interview at the 1.35 hour point.
I always thought that' you can get oestrogen circulating when you have not taken enough progesterone, but in this interview Ray peat tells us that the oestrogen that is released from the tissues is detoxified and is released in a watery form and is excreted by the kidneys not harmful at all??
I'm super confused now.

@Elderflower j58 , Dr Peat is saying that adequate progesterone will deactivate the estrogen, detoxify it, causing it to be in a water soluble form which will then leave the cell, not be taken up by other cells, and be excreted by the body. The progesterone must also be cyclic so the liver does not just excrete the progesterone.
