Thanks, Charlie. Glad you liked the song.

IIRC, Ray Peat did his Ph.D. dissertation research on hamsters. The title was something like "Age-Related Oxidative Changes in the Hamster Uterus."

You're very welcome, Rachel. When I release my album of Peat-themed music, I'll obviously have to call it "The Orange Album."

Funny you should mention hamster fricassee. A friend of mine claims that people eat hamsters (and guinea pigs) in parts of Latin America, so maybe they are tasty li'l critters.

As you probably already know, the South Americans are particularly lucky because they have guinea pigs like this:

Wow! Those critters are a whole lot meatier than I realized! [Insert drooling smiley.]

[Ray-Z grabs a jar of coconut oil, a bottle of hot sauce, and a sombrero, and sprints for the door.]

Birdie:

I take it as high praise that you thought Narouz wrote my absurd Christmas carol. Narouz, on the other hand, may not be so happy...

EDIT: In any event, thank you for your kind thoughts, Birdie and Mr. Birdie.

Well, thanks! Typo/switch there to narouz. :) Anyway, I do remember saying to Mr Birdie that Ray on the forum wrote it.

This is great! Even in May.

I was combing my way through a number of "unread posts" I have and came across this little gem.

Thanks Ray-Z - this made my day. I was at first perplexed about the hamsters too!

Hahaha, I wonder what RP would think about this if he saw it. To be so optimistic about his health suggestions as to write a Christmas song about it...
