I understand dogs don’t respond symptomatically to covid19. The dogs cellular environment doesn’t respond to it.
I am curious though if we could still find the RNA of covid19 in a dog ,if we give it swab test and use the current methods of testing which is the amplifying technique -Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
It would be a good way to explain viral load to the public.
Is this possible ?
