Well, maybe if it was pressed right up to your skin. But that's a heat lamp, and that would cause it's own issues. The amount of light absorbed decreases exponentially the further you move it away from you.
Of course, it's going to suck up a lot of power, so that might be a consideration.

been looking at similar stuff for construction sites, available with sockets for halogen which is 2nd best according to peat
Yeah, I would use my own light bulbs ofc.
soon as i have more free time on my hands ill def buy one. by then it will probably be late spring already -.- oh well
so what i understand is that we need red led lamps with a 850nm? is this correct?
