Tea drunk

My tea vendor has been an agricultural engineer and I learned a lot from him. I buy him a tea a couple years ago and he said to me that it could make me "tea drunk". This is wild tea grown on old tea trees 30 meters tall, no modern agriculture here.

Anyway, I tried something like 10g with 200ml of water and felt warm and very relaxed (he described the same feeling to me). And I just stumble upon a quote of RP that could explain the effect:

Ray Peat said:
The amino acid theanine, found in tea, has been reported to decrease the amount of serotonin in the brain, probably by decreasing its synthesis and increasing its degradation.

Could this tea be very high in theanine? Do anyone has another possible explanation?

From his experience, it can happen with wild tea (which is very rare) or with a lot of very high quality tea. He sent me the last 50g he had and I will try to get tea drunk again when I have the time.
