Hello. I've seen many users report Taurine increases testosterone. My question is what is the optimal daily dosage of Taurine to achieve this? Haidat took 15g a day but that is a huge dose, not sure if taking that much is necessary.

I'm not sure there is an ideal dose - mileage may vary. How old are you and what's your goal?

The research below primarily addresses taurine's effect on antioxidant status in the testes of older and/or diabetic disease models.

I'm a Type 1 Diabetic - had it for 32 years and take taurine for various reasons: blood sugar control, alcohol liver protection, cardiovascular function, general antioxidant support, and the reproductive benefits namely maintaining erection capabilities.

I've never noticed an increase in sex drive or general androgenic chracteristics. I take anywhere from 1-3 grams a day along with Diet Monster Energy which contains an additional 1-2grams along with seafood crab, oysters, clams occasionally.

It can be sedating and cause a little weight loss due to beneficial effects I don't have time to outline.
