Teeth have fat? Human teeth too? That’s new to me lol

I forgot to mention that the odontoblasts can actually accumulate lipofuscin! The current theory by the mainstream is that aged, post-mitotic cells accumulate lipofuscin, but I think it is actually the reverse that lipofuscin causes cells to become post-mitotic, and there is evidence for this. Anyway, odontoblasts are important for dentin renewal.

Last year, my dentist had commented on how my enamel was essentially gone. I got a bottle of Uncle Harry's Natural Alkalizing Miracle Mouthwash, put about 1 oz into an 8 oz empty bottle with a drop of methylene blue (which Haidut has mentioned using) and filled the rest with water. At my next checkup 6 months later, my enamel had regenerated.

I also use the toothpaste of the same brand, comes in a jar and looks like clay. Ultra soft toothbrush by Gum.

do you think it was the toothpaste or the MB?

Maybe it's just the alkali. I've been using baking soda to brush. And I floss.

Lately I'm using the MMS, and rinsing twice a day. It has already removed plaque. Not sure if that is all good or not. There is some evidence plaque is protective. But we'll see.

It's always fun running experiments.

I'd like to get rid of this hot and cold sensitivity though.

How do you get rid of lipofuscin?

I was listening to one of Dr. Peat's interviews. Might have been with Danny Roddy. He says lipofuscin can be gotten rid of.

PUFA depletion and iron depletion (within reason) is probably a fix, and raising metabolism.

I have been using a product Nutra Lingual Serrapeptase Spray ( it is an oral spray ) and I started noticing that my teeth really do not get plaque anymore really. This was not why I am taking it - just a side benefit. I would also agree on the milk thing - once I really committed to drinking milk , like 32 oz a day, it made a huge difference in my teeth. The feel stronger and thicker. I do not drink OJ tho.

Do you add back probiotics and digestive enzymes (like lactase) when consuming milk? Do you consume it as a meal by itself?

Are you still taking vitamin K2 MK-4? That wasn't enough to get rid of plaque?

I take a D3/K2 still in an oral drops oil. Yes, that did and does help my teeth but when I started the Serrapeptase oral spray, now my teeth feel like they have just been brushed all the time, it's crazy. Milk and I have a weird relationship. I do take one chewable Acidophilus / Bifidum ( American Health Brand, cheap and awesome ) each day , sometimes with milk , sometimes not . I switched to 2 percent regular Kroger milk and started to drink a bunch of it as an experiment . I drink milk at night as kind of a meal yes. I am hooked. I also add Collagen in my coffee. Not sure if it helped my teeth but my skin looks super good from that.

Any before/after pics?

I have a theory about adding back probiotics and enzymes to whole milk to have it more closely resemble raw milk.

It's funny that skin is better, as some avoid milk due to concerns about acne.

Not sold on milk personally. I used to drink a LOT of milk and still my teeth got worse. Not to mention strong serotonergic effects from all the tryptophan. Just my personal experience tho.

I don't have before and after pics no - sorr. milk used to make me break out , but now it does not. I tried all kinds of fancy organic , A2 , raw all of that and regular cheap **** 2 percent works best for me. Once again, Dr Peat was right , when I got my gut fixed etc , it started to work. Whole milk was what I was drinking but it started to create issues, when I switched to 2 percent they went away. I am on month three of taking collagen in my am coffee and I do feel it had " sealed " up my gut and now milk works way better. I have never been " lactose intolerant " though like a lot of people.

How long did it take and does gelatin do the same thing? I was intaking a large amount of gelatin religiously for a couple months and I didn't notice any gut benefits. I haven't been really having much lately as I feel it didn't do a whole lot for me in the long run (But it is good for balancing out tryptophan, but now I barely eat protein anyway, so I no longer need to balance anything).

I started with Perfect Hydrolyzed Collagen and then next batch was this stuff from Vitacost , same thing different maker. It is cheaper. Last year when I tried to take gelatin, nothing happened. I did not like it . I gave it another try in my am coffee and this year is it working for me. My experience lately really had been to " re - try " things because a lot of things are working for me that did not used to. I only take about a tablespoon in my coffee with sugar, butter and milk.

I have sensitivity to hot and cold. If I have something hot, then anything cold really hurts my teeth, and vice versa.
From Ray's book "Nutrition for Women" (found in Mega Master Ray Newsletter pdf).

"Teeth that are sensitive to heat or cold suggest a
deficiency of calcium, magnesium, or vitamin D. Blood sugar
and calcium seem to be related, and a dental researcher has
shown that teeth are sensitive to alterations in the blood
sugar concentration. Cramps, especially in the feet and legs
can result from a deficiency of these same nutrients"

I'm seeing that teeth so far is pretty common complaint here unfortunately. Mine aren't great either and I'm really looking for some solutions. Has anyone tried this TriSodium Phosphate method from the video?

@schultz you are beast, do you know about some connection of histamine and teeth health? Thank you for your work man.

Thank you!

There does seem to be some connection to histamine and salivary flow. I'll have to look into it more.

Well, that’s an interesting article.

I think you are so right about keeping the mouth closed for breathing. Key.

That one quote that you posted about tooth enamel being thin is one I think about every time I choose what to brush my teeth with. Great quotes.

@danishispsychic

I had a tiny spot on a front tooth that deteriorated after 2 yrs of following Peat’s food suggestions. But it didn’t get any worse in the following 2/3 yrs after I started drinking a couple of quarts of milk + a quart of oj most days.

Oh, I’d like to try that.

What are anyone’s thoughts on the extensive pediatric dentistry that is done today? I was shocked to learn that there are now specialists who do root canals on the first teeth. Apparently, it’s not uncommon. I don’t see how that’s necessary (& the article @ilikecats posted said that those teeth can be sealed, but it’s too cheap & effective). Am I missing something?
