The 2009 outbreak of a new strain of swine flu killed between 157,000 and 575,000 people worldwide, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Eighty per cent of the fatalities were estimated to have occurred in people younger than 65 years of age. Nearly one-third of people over the age of 60 had antibodies against the virus, "likely from exposure to an older H1N1 virus earlier in their lives," the CDC said.

A vaccine was quickly developed and the pandemic was declared over by the World Health Organization in August 2010.

Interestingly, the H1N1 was probably worse than COVID-19, if it indeed killed younger people, much like the Spanish Flu. I remember that time in 2009, there were hand disinfectant foam pumps everywhere! As a teenager with severe asthma (although quite mild symptoms by that point), I was "forced" to go and get a vaccine, ahead of everyone. I've never given it much thought until today, but interestingly enough, my health started going downhill fast a year afterwards.

God should stop playing Plague Inc.

There will always be and always has been viruses. The problem is the Pharma companies are always trying to cash in with scare tactics, and creating a market for selling vaccines.

I'm not taking the vaccine. Neither will I ever take the vaccine.

About the 2009 swine flu.

Why The WHO Faked A Pandemic
"The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), a human rights watchdog, is publicly investigating the WHO's motives in declaring a pandemic. Indeed, the chairman of its influential health committee, epidemiologist Wolfgang Wodarg, has declared that the "false pandemic" is "one of the greatest medicine scandals of the century."
Even within the agency, the director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Epidemiology in Munster, Germany, Dr. Ulrich Kiel, has essentially labeled the pandemic a hoax."

Academics who spoke out on swine flu risks were more likely to have industry links, study finds

Council of Europe condemns “unjustified scare” over swine flu

WHO and the pandemic flu “conspiracies”
"Key scientists advising the World Health Organization on planning for an influenza pandemic had done paid work for pharmaceutical firms that stood to gain from the guidance they wrote. These conflicts of interest have never been publicly disclosed by WHO"

The aftermath of the vaccination and medication campaigns of 2009: Blindness, paralysis, and narcolepsy.

Insight: Evidence grows for narcolepsy link to GSK swine flu shot
"Emelie is one of around 800 children in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe who developed narcolepsy, an incurable sleep disorder, after being immunized with the Pandemrix H1N1 swine flu vaccine made by British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline in 2009."

Again, this is PR, leading you down the road. Not even close to Journalism. You can't look at a virus and give any sort of estimate that it's dangerous. Wolfgang Wodarg stated this clearly in his video about the COVID hysteria near the beginning, a starting near 2:00

The headline that a "newly discovered virus" has "pandemic potential" is literally no different than a headline that reads "A baby was born today in New York City, who will potentially be a world dictator more brutal than Stalin, Mao and Hitler combined." You can't prove that it won't come to fruition, but it's highly unlikely and not based on any facts.

Your welcome @mrchibbs :hattip. Thank you too, I really enjoy your posts!

The 2009 scare and crooked activities of the WHO and big pharma were quite openly discussed in the german mainstream in the years following it. Lots of good german TV reports and a documentary came out about it which can still be found on the internet.

I found an antihelminthic drug called Niclosamide. It's salicylic acid derivative which has anti-cancer, anti-diabetes, anti-fibrotic and mitochondria uncoupling effects.

Just take a look at PubMed. It inhibits VEGF, TGF Beta, IL Cytokines, STAT3, mTOR... name it.

But you gotta know alot of people wake up and the elites are planning on big stuff. Things that were a joke are happening right now we're in the plain sight of elites and also this will be next fastest new world order. I'm pretty sure from now and then things will not stay the same.

No, it doesn't. We aren't even in a pandemic now. It's the illusion of one, with constant media reports and government action.

They tried this before with H1N1 back in 1976 and 2009. No pandemic then, either.

what’s your definition of a pandemic?

what’s your definition of a pandemic?

Personally, I think it should be reserved for something like Spanish Flu, where (whatever the cause), all cause mortality increased dramatically, and along with the very high death rate in 20-40 year olds, it's clear something unusual was going on.

This year, outside of the government intervention, media hype, and medical policies put in place to deliberately kill old people, it doesn't appear than anything unusual is going on, certainly in regards to viruses or bacteria. All Cause Mortality is about where it is expected to be when compared with recent years, some estimates are that its about 2% lower. How can you have a pandemic with a lower overall mortality rate?

By some definitions, you can call COVID and SARS and other things pandemics...... but then, you would have several every year, including seasonal flu, tuberculosis, cancer, heart disease, even things like Epstein-Barr, the common cold, and acne could be considered "Pandemics" by certain definitions.
