We were tamed slowly over generations using education as made to make us weaker and docile so we can conform more easily to the system of rule needed to build great walls and pyramids. We continue to build these structures -skyscrapers, horrific windmill generators, wood chip power generators eating up forests, monolithic dams built while we are forbidden from tapping into primary water sources in the ground, and labyrinths of highways and subdivisions made for cars to move people instead of bikes and trains.

I'm sure that Squid Game-esque events are being held in secret by the Elite somewhere to some extent, but I think the broader purpose of such a show is to program.

Good programming requires a good archetypal story with a fixed degree of distortion. Truth poisoned with a degree of untruth. Pure untruth is largely unpalatable except to the insane. Squid Game is popular because its exciting: death competitions, but also because of its the story of an extremely relatable man who is forced through bizarre systems obsessed with money. This is the exact same story we live out today. We throw everything away doing arbitrary tasks for the sake of money while elites at the top laugh at us. Korean society is squid game. Cruel, meaningless, and family we do this all for becomes more and more distant to us despite all we do anyways. Horrible.

Where its pure poison is the forced and out of place mockery of Christianity. Korean Protestantism is incomplete and has a tremendous amount of baggage but that issue is its own rabbit hole to go down and I'm not the guy who is adequate for addressing it as it ought.
