Surgical Masks Increase Pulse, Lower Oxygen Saturation From Rebreathing CO2

I sometimes wear a surgical mask. I feel warmer & more relaxed, and pulse rises a bit, so looks like this method increases CO2 for me.

Got the idea from this thread, so thanks, @tankasnowgod.

they got those vogmasks things too if you want to be burgoise ( idk how to spell this word ) about it, I have 2

idk what the valves are for but I also have one without it, very comfortabl

definitely agree with the relaxed feel. i started using a disposable dust mask this morning and prefer this to a paper bag. so much easier. the duration of my breath holds are also improved i find

I was installing an elevator in a apartment building and had to wear a dust mask, I would end up choking and dry reaching, too much co2? Like bag breathing too long, I was working hard.

probably too little oxygen rather than 2 much co2

Anyone every try one of those chin straps off ebay to keep your mouth shut at night?
I used one for a while (not from ebay). Or tape. It was great. I don't seem to need to use it all the time now, but I get it out again when I have a cold.
I highly recommend trying it if you have any indications of mouth-breathing at night.
