I was wondering since from own experience-these additives cause discomforting if not really bad issues on stomach, organs overall mood, lethargy over a period, specially if you take several capsules of many things. And Ray being against these additives ()what can we do to get our B1, our Magnesium, K2 or our D3 supplements without getting these harmful if not toxic additives?

Feel free to argue once again(topic not discussed imo as thoroughly)if you don’t think they are harmful, or the pros are exceeding the cons thus shouldn’t be concerned.

Recommend any alternative supplements for Europeans without these additives or suggest to just drop altogether and stick to real food and hope for the best..

My biggest issue is getting Magnesium, because I take several capsules a day, and it contains Microcrystalline Cellulose, and many other supplements I take contain Silicon Dioxide.

Metabolic Maitenance supps have no additives. However, they are quite expensive. I order through iherb to Europe. I always get my supps without disturbances. The trick is (at least in my country) to order the cheapest shipment option by local post. This way I omit customs and taxes.

B vitamins are water soluble. Silica, cellulose and magnesium stearate are not so you can put them through a coffee filter.

yo shout outs to you gurl, I found the supplements there and they look clean, also the place (iherb) I was looking earlier for canned oysters, seems like iherb is going to get a lot of orders, because of shipping length might just buy 150 cans of oysters with the supplements, **** it in worst case id sell the canned oysters as substitute viagra pills in the apEcalypse.

@Hans

what supplements do you personally take, brands etc?
I think its not that important with a bcomplex from my reading on here, food + one redbull a day is plenty, but specific things like mag,b1,K2 are good to take specifically. Interested to hear.

Currently just vitamin A, D and K2. Occasionally B1, B2 and B3. I'll experiment more in the future, but that's my stack for now.

Why not think about getting most of your supplements in powder? Not only more cost effective, but they are usually free of fillers, since nothing is needed for tablet making or capsuling. Pure Bulk or Bulk Supplements are good sources here in the US.

Magnesium is easy; A lot of Magnesium Citrate comes in the Form of additive Free Powder, which gets dissolved in water. Fat solubles suspended in MCT-Oil, and the PUFA content of Vitamin E Capsules is so low, that it doesnt matter. Maybe we Europeans need to get in contact with Manufacturers and demand higher Quality excipients?

Purebulk and Bulksupplements are based in USA but they ship to Europe. They sell powders without any excipients.

Are you sure? I get a very bad allergic reaction from this one. It must be the vegetarian cellulose.
Could be. I have never had a bad reaction - but truthfully I only have one occasionally when my stress is extra high. One bottle lasts me like 6-7 months.
