I was wondering what supplements are replaceable, recommended, and maybe even necessary.
So far I am thinking that:
Non Replaceable:
Everyday:VK
Aspirin
Infrequent
VE
Replaceable
Everyday:
VA (Liver)
VD (Sun)
Thryoid (Enough Nutrients/Sugar/Protein etc...)
Niacinamide (Low PUFA Diet as well as Low PUFA in body Fat)
Infrequent:
Sulfur (Good Diet/Carrot Salad)
Minocycline (Good Diet/Carrot Salad)
I was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on the subject. I know that technically, you probably don't need any supplements, and it also depends on the person. But I just wanted to get an idea on what you think is necessary/not necessary regarding supplements.
Some things I didn't really count as supplements: Gelatin, Sugar, Salt/Baking Soda, Cocoa/Cacao, Coffee, Coconut Oil...I kind of consider these to be more foods than supplements.
I am also assuming that it is probably best to avoid supplements as much as possible and try to get the nutrients from food/real sources. Which supplements have pros that out weigh the cons and the negatives of the food it can come from i.e. Vitamin E from Nuts: Nuts are a good source of Vitamin E, but they are also high in PUFA's so it would probably be better to just supplement...
Thanks for any advice/input!
